This brought back my own springtime in Poland - one of the happiest stretches of my life. I was living in Wrocław. We’d buy kielbasa (my favourite was kaszanka, the blood sausage), then cycle out to the surrounding villages - cobbled roads, half-finished homes - and light a barbecue in the long light of early evening. We’d find a village bar, drink beers with the local dziadeks, then swim in the river to shake off the smoke and sun.
Made me want to pack up and see this. 🌳
thank you Jenn! Much appreciated. Please come! :)
